Applications for Fire District Commission

The seven seats on the Fire District Commission are appointed by the County of Santa Clara Board of Supervisors. The Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors accepts applications for service on this Commission at all times, even when all Commission seats are filled.

Interested residents of the LAHCFD area (Los Altos Hills or the unincorporated county areas covered by the district known as Loyola, Los Trancos, and San Antonio Hills) should submit an application to the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.  The application form, titled “Application for Advisory Appointment”, is an electronic form that can be filled out and submitted online.

The following information is needed when completing this form:

  • As an LAHCFD area resident, you reside in supervisorial District 5.
  • In selecting the “Advisory Board, Commission or Committee” on which to serve, select “Los Altos Hills County Fire District”.

If you have any questions about the submission process, contact the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors by phone at 408-299-5001, or visit their website.

If you would like additional information on Commission requirements, oath of office, new Commissioner orientation, Form 700 requirements (Statement of Economic Interest), etc., contact us (LAHCFD).
