LAHCFD CWPP Annex 4 and Addendum

2023 CWPP Annex 4 document

Download the CWPP Annex 4

The Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) is a regionally coordinating document for wildfire mitigation projects, programs and education. Find the county-wide CWPP document here. Annex 4 applies specifically to the Los Altos Hills County Fire District for local projects and programs.

The full 2023 CWPP Annex 4 update is available for download. It was approved in our November 21, 2023 Commission meeting. As a living document, the project matrix (Table 17) has been updated to reflect 2025 projects.

Next steps

This document has been submitted to the Santa Clara County FireSafe Council (SCCFSC), which is acting as County Coordinator. They will submit the county-wide CWPP to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors.

The Annex 4 project matrix will be updated to reflect 2026 projects.

Past Updates

The 2019 Revised Annex 4 of the Santa Clara County Community Wildfire Protection Plan provides wildfire mitigation projects that are specific to the Los Altos Hills Fire District.

In June 2019, the District wrote an Addendum to the 2019 Revised Annex 4, as a guidebook for residents. The Addendum to Annex 4 provides an easy-to-read overview of wildfire risks and mitigation efforts, encourages specific pre-planning actions for property resiliency in wildfires, and guidance for self-reliance of residents and the community in the event of a disaster.
