Defensible Space Vegetation Removal Monthly Drop Off Program

A man and his two sons dump a trashbag full of dead leaves into a collection bin.

The District encourages residents to create defensible space by reducing vegetation on their properties that could become fuel for a wildfire, posing a hazard to life and property. To support these fire safety efforts, a once-a-month program has been arranged where District residents can drop off the vegetation they have removed, such as pruned limbs, brush, and branches, and it will be hauled away by trucks provided by GreenWaste Recovery.
